The plastic access ramp is used to create an easy transition for people or a crossing for handling equipment and vehicles between two height levels. Access ramps are also widely used in the field of making life easier for wheelchair users. The height, width and length of the ramp are variable, and apart from the listed configurations, it is possible to produce a custom ramp according to the customer's specific requirements. The same applies to the colour design, upon agreement, the ramp can be delivered in any colour combination.

The ramps are made of GripTil plastic floor segments and, depending on the application, can be Hard or Standard. The surface of the ramp is perforated, and the underside is ribbed and connected by channels that ensure quick and permanent drainage of water under the surface. The ramps are resistant to most chemicals, oils, paints, acids, and solvents, and the recommended temperature range of use is from -40 to +60°C.

Unlike metal ramps, plastic ramps are very light and easy to handle. Unlike wooden ramps, plastic ramps are inert, non-absorbent, resistant to moisture and mould, and require no maintenance.

Types of ramps

Standard – the basic soft version is intended for the movement of people and light transport equipment.

Hard - hard version, is intended for ramps that are more stressed by loads and handling techniques, or parking and crossing vehicles.

Details

A wide range of use is supported by the ramp's modular construction, quick and simple assembly and disassembly, colour range and material used. At the same time, these ramps are used in areas where time-limited use is assumed. The installed ramp can be easily dismantled and, if necessary, the dimensions can be modified and placed in another space. If the higher surface is of irregular dimensions, the required shape of the ramp is simply cut with a saw.

The same applies to the colour design, upon agreement it is possible to deliver the ramp in any colour combination. If necessary, it is also possible to bevel the side edges and equip them with corner elements. This will create a ramp accessible from three sides.
